ADVISORY: U.S. 25E in Grainger and Claiborne Counties Now Open

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - U.S. Highway 25E near the Claiborne/Grainger County line re-opened to traffic on Friday, December 12.  The roadway had to be closed to traffic Thursday afternoon, December 11, due to unstable rock conditions caused by heavy rains. Motorists should continue to use extreme caution while traveling through this area.
