Cannon County Man Arrested for Child Porn

WOODBURY, Tenn. - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation led an investigation that resulted in a Aurburntown, TN man being indicted by the Cannon County Grand Jury for possession of child pornography.

Jaron Cody Taylor, 21, Kennedy Creek Road, Aurburntown, TN was arrested last night at his place of employment in Murfreesboro, TN by the Cannon County Sheriff’s Department. He was indicted on one count of Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. In March, the TBI received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that a certain AOL email address was flagged for sending known child porn over the internet. The TBI served a search warrant on the suspect’s house in April 2008 and confiscated a computer. A computer forensic examination revealed Taylor was in possession of more than 1,000 child pornographic images.

Taylor was booked into the Cannon County Jail on $200,000 bond.
