NASHVILLE – Tennessee Department of Health announces that the suspension of admissions at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation for Winchester nursing home has been lifted. The facility is an 80-bed licensed nursing home located at 32 Memorial Drive in Winchester. The Department confirmed the facility has returned to substantial compliance for state licensing purposes, and the deficient practices and conditions have been corrected as stated in the facility’s plan of correction, which was approved by federal and state authorities.

On September 30, the nursing home was ordered not to admit any new residents based on conditions found during a complaint investigation and annual survey conducted August 25 through September 22. During the survey, surveyors found violations of the following standards: administration, performance improvement, nursing services and resident rights.
