Friday, October 10, 2008 | 03:33am

Changes have been made for the 2008-09 waterfowl hunting season at the Bogota Wildlife Management Area, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has announced.

Public hunting will be open during the statewide season at the WMA and will be allowed on pools 1, 2, and 3. Hunting will be available on a first come, first serve basis. As in the past, the hunting will be held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and will end at 3:00 p.m. each day. The only exceptions in the schedule are the opening day of the statewide season and the closing day when hunting will be permitted until sunset.

Bogota WMA is located adjacent to the Obion River in Dyer County, about eight miles northwest of Dyersburg.
