A free workshop to help job seekers with disabilities and other workers in Hickman County jumpstart their career.

This is a Publication Committee Meeting of the Tennessee Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial (America 250). The Tennessee Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial was created to plan, encourage, develop, and coordinate the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, and recognize Tennessee's integral role in that event and the impact of its people on the nation's past, present, and future. This virtual public meeting will include members of the governing body who are participating by electronic means of communication. Individuals wishing to make public comment should either contact Nieya Wallace at nieya.wallace@tn.gov prior to the meeting or if you participate in the meeting by electronic means, you will be given an opportunity to speak at the conclusion of the meeting’s business. During that time, you will be asked to provide your name. All comments will be limited to 5 minutes.

A rulemaking hearing will occur in Nashville on January 9, 2025 about updates to the rules for case management in Tennessee's workers' compensation program. The proposed rules clarify and refine case management regulations in Tennessee's workers' compensation program. These proposed changes include clearer requirements for case manager and assistant qualifications, increased clarity on case management responsibilities, and updated guidelines for virtual meetings and record-keeping.
