A free workshop to help job seekers with disabilities and other workers in Hickman County jumpstart their career.

Shelby County EMA & Homeland Security/Memphis Office of Emergency Training will offer a FREE Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic Training disaster and emergency preparedness course, open to residents and businesses in Shelby County on Oct. 5 and 12.

The Medical Advisory Committee assists the administrator in the development of the treatment guidelines and advises the administrator on issues relating to medical care in the workers’ compensation system. The committee is comprised of practitioners in the medical community having experience in the treatment of workers’ compensation injuries, representatives of the insurance industry, employer representatives, and employee representatives.

The Joint Audit Committee for the Chairs of Excellence Trust and the College Savings Trust Fund will meet at 1:45 p.m. (Central Time) on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
