Canceled - The one-day Tennessee-specific educational conference in Nashville that was to be focused on medical topics for treating injured workers on Saturday, May 20, 2023 is now canceled.

The next quarterly meeting of the Tennessee Arts Commission will be from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. CT/ 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. ET, Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the Tennessee Arts Commission office, 401 Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd. (formerly Charlotte Ave) and virtually via Microsoft Teams.

This training teaches case managers how they can help injured workers best utilize the resources, funds, and expertise of the Next Step Program.

The purpose of the meeting will be to review the Division of Rehabilitation Services, Centers for Independent Living and Statewide Independent Living Council’s responsibility under Title VII, relating to promoting a philosophy of independent living to maximize the leadership, empowerment, independence, and productivity of individuals with disabilities in accordance with the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as amended by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014. The SILC is required to hold regularly scheduled meetings that are open to the public.
