A free workshop to help job seekers with disabilities and other workers in Hickman County jumpstart their career.

The Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities meets four times a year to oversee the efforts of the agency. Meetings are open to the public, and an agenda for the meeting is available by request. Minutes from the most recent meeting are also available. This free training available to all Tennesseans covers the facts about Fentanyl. The presenter will look at recent trends, the risks, and basic precautions to take.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will host a design public meeting on Thursday, November 3, 2022, to gather public input on the proposed SR-46 widening from near SR-100 in Hickman County to near I-40 in Dickson County. The meeting will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the following location: East Hickman High School 7700 Highway 7 Lyles, TN 37098
