Field days offer farmers, ranchers, gardeners, foresters and the general public a chance to see research findings, learn from university and industry experts and network with peers.

The Department of Commerce & Insurance has invited insurance carriers offering plans on the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) for the State of Tennessee to offer overviews of their plans at a public meeting on Oct. 17, 2019. The Department expects participation by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Bright Health, Celtic/Ambetter Insurance, Cigna and Oscar Health.

The Tennessee Beef Promotion Board will meet Oct. 18, 2019 at 1 p.m. CDT at the Tennessee Beef Industry Council located at 530 Brandies Circle Suite A in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

The Board considers Tuition Guaranty Fund (TGF) claims and disburses, if appropriate, funds assessed and collected from authorized postsecondary educational institutions. The Board is required to act on claims in a timely manner and to provide a written explanation for any action taken. Meetings of the Board are held as is necessary in view of the executive committee.
