Excellence in Community Risk Reduction Award

The 2023 Excellence in Community Risk Reduction Award application is due by August 19, 2023.

The Excellence in Community Risk Reduction (CRR) Award recognizes a fire department that has exemplified best practices in CRR. The recipient will have used innovative practices to identify and prioritize risks, create and implement strategic interventions, and identify evaluation metrics that will determine the program’s strengths and weaknesses.

Eligibility: 

• Must be a recognized fire department in Tennessee.

• Vision 20/20's Community Risk Assessment Guide may be a useful tool for applicants.
• Applications will be evaluated by an independent panel of subject matter experts with no affiliation with the Tennessee State Fire Marshal's Office.
