Notice

The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance (herein “Department”) will be conducting a Rulemaking Hearing on May 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. CST. This rulemaking hearing will be held at the following address:

Davy Crockett Tower, Conference Room 1-B
Nashville, TN 37243

The proposed amendment aligns the Department’s current rule on credit card convenience fees with modern practices for electronic payment transactions and the State’s current contracts for such payments. This amendment will not impact payments made by paper check or money order to the Department.
