The Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance’s (TDCI) Division of Securities is dedicated to ensuring our nation’s service members and their families have the resources they need to increase and further enhance their financial stability.

As the nation prepares to honor those who have served in the armed forces this Veterans Day (Nov. 11, 2024), TDCI's Division of Securities is raising awareness of Veteran Save Week (Nov. 12 – 15).

Military families are vital to Tennessee’s economy, and this week serves as a fantastic opportunity to remind service members and their families of the importance of financial stability.

Each day of Veteran Save Week will feature a theme that touches on four important areas of financial readiness. This week, we’ll encourage transitioning service members, veterans, caregivers, and their families to take control of their financial future and shore up their financial stability.

Veteran Saves Week is a program of America Saves, an initiative of the nonprofit Consumer Federation of America (CFA) and is dedicated to helping veterans, transitioning service members, their families, and caregivers to save money, reduce debt, and build wealth.
