Announcement on the Passing of Lisa Powers Cooper

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa Powers Cooper, Director of the Tennessee Public Utility Commission’s Consumer Services Division. She passed away at her residence following a brief illness.

Lisa was a member of the Commission staff for close to 20 years during which she served in the capacities of Senior Policy Advisor and Division Director.

Lisa is survived by her husband, daughter and son-in-law, as well as her father and mother and three step-daughters and extended family members.   

Her passing comes as a shock to us all and we will miss her bright smile and boundless energy sorely in our agency.
