Jones Reappointed and Hie Named to the Commission

Nashville, Tennessee – (May 8, 2018) Commissioner David Jones has been reappointed to the TPUC by Governor Bill Haslam, Lt. Governor Randy McNally, and House Speaker Beth Harwell. He was first appointed to the commission in 2013.

Commissioner David Jones is CEO and President of Complete Holdings Group, a workers’ compensation revenue solutions company to more than 600 hospitals across thirty-six states. He is a certified facilitator/executive coach to CEOs and owners of private businesses. Commissioner Jones spent twenty-nine years in the natural gas pipeline industry. He serves on Boards including EnableComp LLC and the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence.

Commissioner David Jones obtained a B.S. in Business from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from the University of Houston. He is the author of the book Surviving and Thriving After Losing Your Job.

In addition, Governor Haslam, Lt. Governor McNally, and House Speaker Harwell have jointly appointed John Hie to serve as a commissioner of the TPUC.

Mr. Hie is a former securities broker with Stephens, Inc. in Nashville, where he serves as a financial advisor and broker for a wide variety of private clients. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, College of Pharmacy in Memphis and served as a pharmacist in the United States Army at Walter Reed Army Medical Center from 1969 until 1972. He also served as the managing pharmacist for Revco Drugs from 1972 to 1974 before becoming the owner and operator of an independent pharmacy until 1984.
