WHEN should TennCare recipient fraud be reported?
When a TennCare recipient is:
- Residing outside of Tennessee while still a TennCare recipient
- Omitting, falsifying, or hiding income or assets
- Providing false information regarding custody of a child or income of a spouse
- Selling their TennCare provided medications
- Doctor shopping for controlled substances
