| Description | The Advanced School Resource Officer (SRO) training course will be a 28-hour program that provides SROs with information on current school trends, current drug trends, updates on the law, and much more. This course is designed to help equip SROs with the knowledge and tools they need on a day-to-day basis. This course will be POST-approved. |

| Notes | Maximum class size is 100 students. Attendees will receive 3 meals per day. Lodging will be provided at Montgomery Bell State Park (1000 Hotel Ave, Burns, TN 37029) at no cost to the attendees’ agency. Check-in will be July 12, 2026, from 4–6 p.m., with dinner and a welcome ceremony following. Final enrollment in the course will be determined by demand and availability. Restrictions may be placed on the number of attendees from individual agencies if demand exceeds available slots/offerings. TRAINING STARTS SUNDAY NIGHT (7/12/2026) AFTER CHECK-IN.
