Description	This is an instructor class. The purpose of this class is to teach the participant how to teach firearms instruction to shooters of all skill levels, diagnose shooter problems and issues, how to demonstrate the material by setting the example, and correcting the problems and issues shooters face to get the most out of students. This class will have a strong focus on handgun optics instructor and patrol carbine instructor. Class size will be LIMITED to 10 students.

Prerequisites	TN POST Certified Officer who consistently scores 90% or higher on agency firearms qualification. There will be a firearms qualification given on day 1 that students MUST score 90% or higher on to remain in the class. Good attitude, open mind, and leave the ego at home, we will all learn from each other.
Materials	Duty handgun with RELIABLE optic, holster, magazines, on a duty belt; RELIABLE carbine with magazines and REALIABLE Optic or sights. Min. 800 rounds handgun ammo/ min. 800 rounds carbine. Note pad, pens, SHARPIE MARKER, eye and ear protection, water, flashlight (handheld) etc. (TLEAT MAY BE ABLE TO LOAN A CARBINE)

Other Notes	This class is designed on the premise of “you should already know how to shoot and well; we are going to teach you how to teach people to shoot.” If you are looking for a shooting school or tactical school, this is not for you. Having instructed over 4,000 students, new and old, in the last 10 years alone, this course will impart to you the problems shooters have, why they have them, how to correct them, and how to get the best out of each shooter willing to listen and who wants your assistance. There will be a handgun qualification screening on day 1, where students WILL score 90% or higher to remain in the course. The course of fire will be attached so you may practice. We score on a point system, not a hit is a hit! Shooting is back to 25yds. Target used is a standard TQ-15 with a 5,4, 1 scoring pt. TO pass the course, shooters will have to pass all qualifications and required teaching portions Maximum number of students is 10.
