Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy Cadets Donate Over 300 Toys to Al Menah Shrine Temple Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018

What: Donation of toys by cadets attending Basic Police School at the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy (TLETA) to support the Shriners Hospitals for Children.  

Who: Nashville’s Al Menah Shrine members, TLETA cadets from across Tennessee and TLETA Executive Director Brian Grisham.

Where: The Al Menah Shrine Temple, 1354 Brick Church Pike, Nashville TN 37207 ***Media parking available in temple parking lot***

When: Noon, Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018. Photos, media interviews for 30 minutes

Why: Every year, the Al Menah Shriners collect hundreds of toys for patients in the Shriners Hospitals for Children, which offer specialized care to children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and cleft lip and palate, regardless of the families’ ability to pay. TLETA cadets collected toys on behalf of the Al Menah Shrine as a show of support for the Shriners’ mission. TLETA’s winter graduation event will be held on Dec. 20 at the Shriners temple.
