| Description | Partnering with TNSRO and TLETA, this FREE 24 hour course is for school resource officers or school safety officers. This course will provide students with information on the many roles of a SRO and the responsibilities required of a SRO to include legal issues. Officers will be provided information regarding School Safety, Interacting with Youth and overcoming Barriers as well as emerging issues for the SRO. |

| Materials | Bring a copy of your emergency operations plan for the school you are assigned. |

| Notes | Maximum class size is 50 students. Attendees will be provided with 3 meals per day. Lodging will be provided at Henry Horton State Park at no cost to the attendee’s agency. Please note that due to limited availability, attendees may be required to share a hotel room with another participant.
