Termination without Cause

In accordance with TN Code 56-6-117, an insurance company shall notify the Commissioner within 30 days following the effective date of the termination.

Termination fee is $15.00 for each termination. Producer company appointment terminations must be submitted online by the insurance company at www.nipr.com.

Note for Insurance Producers

Insurance producers MUST contact the insurance company for the submission of terminations and fees.

Insurance producers requesting inactivation of their license must first contact the insurance companies for submission of terminations and fees through NIPR before the license can be made inactive. Only the appointing insurance company can terminate an appointment.
