Archery Sight In Weekend at John Sevier Hunter Education Center

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.---On September 18 and 19,  John Sevier Hunter Education Center, in Knoxville, is hosting an archery sight in weekend, in preparation for the upcoming deer hunting season.    Tennessee’s deer archery season is open September 25 - October 29, 2021. 

Between 10 am - 6 pm on Saturday and 1 pm - 6 pm on Sunday, archers may sight in archery equipment with the help of archery experts.  Compound bows, crossbows, and longbows are welcome and broadheads will be allowed.  No Range permit is required if the participant has a Type 001 Hunting and Fishing Combination license along with a Type 010 Big Game Archery license, or a Sportsman license.  Otherwise, participants can purchase a Type 222 range permit on-site for $8.00.   Participants are encouraged to preregister at:
