Registration for 14th Annual Maury County/Steve Brown Memorial Youth Dove Hunt
COLUMBIA --- The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, in conjunction with The University of Tennessee Middle Tennessee Research Center in Columbia, will be hosting the 14h Annual Maury County/Steve Brown Memorial Youth Dove Hunt on Saturday, Sept. 14.
Boys and girls ages 9-15, who have successfully completed hunter education, are eligible to participate. The participants must be accompanied by one-non hunting adult. Due to space restrictions, the field is limited to the first 60 hunters who register. All participants MUST register prior to the event. The Steve Brown Memorial portion of the event’s name was added in honor of late TWRA wildlife technician Steve Brown who worked at Yanahli Wildlife Management Area in Maury County.
Events begin at 11 a.m. and will include registration, lunch, clay target range shooting, door prizes, safety orientation, and the dove hunt. The hunt concludes at sunset.

Ramp loops down onto Highway 31 heading south
