PREVIOUS MEETINGS
A series of public meetings were held in 2013 to discuss the preliminary designs of each section of the proposed widening and realignment of SR 76.

A public meeting was held on Thursday, March 14, 2000, at Trezevant Middle School, 95 School Street, Trezevant, Tennessee, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting was to review and comment on the proposed improvements and alternatives to SR-76 from Cades Atwood Road near the Gibson County line to Sydnor Road in Carroll County. A total of 105 responses were submitted and recorded.

A public meeting was held on Thursday, October 7, 1999, at McKenzie High School, 23292 Highway 22, McKenzie, Tennessee, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting was to review and comment on the preliminary design plans developed for proposed improvements from SR-5/US 45 in Milan, Gibson County to the four-lane section in McKenzie, Carroll County. Forty-four individuals submitted that they supported the project, four individuals did not, and three individuals were undecided.
