A Public Meeting was held on Thursday, June 24, 2010, at South Jackson Community Center, 412 TN Highway 18 South, Jackson, TN, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting was to provide an additional opportunity for the public to review the proposed alternatives for the SR 18 improvement project and to provide input pertaining to the selection of a "Preferred Alternative" for the project.

A National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Public Hearing was held on Thursday, October 29, 2009, at South Jackson Community Center, 412 TN Highway 18 South, Jackson, TN, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting was to to provide the public an opportunity for input on the approved Environmental Assessment (EA) prior to completion of the final environmental document for the proposed SR 18 improvement project.

A Public Meeting was held on Monday, November 22, 2004, at South Jackson Community Center, 412 TN Highway 18 South, Jackson, TN, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the public to the project and give them an opportunity to provide input related to the purpose and need for the project and potential project alternatives. Four alternative routes were shown on aerial photo displays. A handout document with project location map was also available, showing the alternative routes but also breaking the routes into segments. The segmentation was intended to create multiple choice options to demonstrate the flexibility of choice to property owners and stakeholders viewing the displays.
