State Route 374

Montgomery County

Timeline

Transportation projects are developed in four phases: Planning and Environmental, Design, Right-of-Way (ROW) and Construction. The proposed extension of State Route 374, including widening of SR 149, west of Clarksville, is currently in the Planning and Environmental phase. Below is a reflection of each project phase as they have occurred or will occur for the proposed project.

Environmental Assessment (EA) Approved January 2019
Public Hearing March 2019
Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) Approved July 2020
Final NEPA Document Approved Summer 2020

Due to the significant cost estimate to appraise and acquire Right of Way within the project limits, the proposed improvements will be separated into two smaller sections or phases. The anticipated timeline for each segment is as follows.

US 79 / SR 76 / Dover Road to Dotsonville Road

ROW Appraisal/Acquisition Funded in FY 2022
Dotsonville Road to SR 149
ROW Appraisal/Acquisition Pending Funding
