Contract
On Monday, January 4, 2021, TDOT officially awarded the contract for the I-65 Interchange at Buckner Road to Bell & Associates Construction, LLC at a cost of $54,258,650.
Using the Design-Build project delivery method, design and construction will be completed in less than three years.
Following the contract award, the design will be finalized, and the necessary right-of-way and permits will be acquired. Utility relocations will begin shortly thereafter, with construction expected between spring 2022 and spring 2023. Once activity begins in the project area, every effort will be made to minimize impacts to drivers near the work zone.
