Transportation projects are developed in four phases: Planning and Environmental, Design, Right-of-Way (ROW), and Construction, as illustrated below. The proposed improvements for State Route 30, from State Route 29 in Dayton to west of the Tennessee River, are currently in the Environmental phase. This phase must be completed before the project may move on to subsequent phases.
