There will also be a Special Lane Closure:

On the evening of Friday, July 12, there will be a lane closure along West Hunt Road. There will be a flagging operation set up starting at 8:00PM that evening to facilitate the connection of the new 12” Water Main. This flagging operation will remain in effect overnight, into Saturday evening. One lane of traffic will be maintained during these operations. This lane closure was previously scheduled for June 21, but was delayed due to pressure testing and Holiday Lane Closure Restrictions.

Note: The Waste Site for this project will be located north of East Hunt Road on the old sod farm (Tract 80). The soil that is hauled to this area will be utilized on the upcoming sections of the Alcoa Highway Bypass in Blount County.
