February 27, 2023

Roadway excavation is complete. AS and BM mix paving from Bridge 1 to Teaster Lane is mostly complete. Both Bridges have had their beams set. Metal Decking Installation is under way.  

November 28, 2022

Roadway excavation is nearly complete. AS mix paving from Bridge 1 to Teaster Lane is under way. Summers and Taylor is setting beams on Bridge 1 over Ridge Road. Blalock will be setting beams on Bridge 2 over Middle Creek towards the beginning of December.  

September 26, 2022

Roadway excavation is nearly complete. Bridge 2 , Abutment 2, backfill is being installed. MSE Wall #3 is currently under construction. Base stone from Bridge 1 to Teaster Lane has been installed. Constructing concrete box culvert at Sta 114+00. Curb & gutter and sidewalk currently being poured from Teaster Lane to Cal Ripken complex.

August 25, 2022

Roadway excavation is nearly complete. Bridge 2 Bent’s footers and columns are being formed, reinforced, and poured. Abutment 1 has been formed, reinforced and will be completely poured within the month. Wall 2 is nearly complete. The contractor completed placing shotcrete at Wall 4.

July 28, 2022

Roadway excavation is nearly complete. Bridge 2 Bent’s footers and columns are being formed, reinforced, and poured. Abutment 1 has been formed, reinforced and will be completely poured within the month. Walls 1 and 2 are nearly complete. The contractor is placing shotcrete at Wall 4.

July 1, 2022

Road and drainage excavation is ongoing on the eastern end of the project. Bridge 2 Bent’s footers and columns are being formed, reinforced, and poured. Walls 1 and 2 are under construction as well. The contractor is placing shotcrete at Wall 4.

Road and drainage excavation is ongoing on the eastern end of the project. Bridge 2 Bent’s footers and columns are being formed, reinforced, and poured. Walls 1 and 2 are under construction as well.  

April 27, 2022

Road and drainage excavation is ongoing on the eastern end of the project. Bridge 1 bent 2’s cap has recently been poured. Abutment 1 piles on each bridge have been set. Walls 1 and 2 are under construction as well.

April 4, 2022

Road and drainage excavation is ongoing on the eastern end of the project. Bridge 1 bent 2’s cap has recently been poured. Abutments will soon be constructed. Bridge 2’s west abutment is being undercut and filled with graded solid rock.
