TDOT Construction Lane Closure Report for Middle Tennessee, September 12-18, 2019
CHEATHAM COUNTY, Resurfacing SR 12 from SR 455 to Davidson County Line
· Daily, 8AM-4PM, There will be lane closures for resurfacing on SR 12 from SR 455 to the Davidson County line.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Interstate 440 Reconstruction
· Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be a right lane closure on SR 6 (Franklin Pike southbound) at LM 5.5 for bridge work.
· Nightly, 9PM-5AM, There will be lane closures and temporary ramp closures at the I-440 and I-65 interchange. There will also be intermittent ramp closures at Nolensville Road.
· Starting Wednesday night, September 18, and continuing nightly, 9PM-5AM, Crews will begin shifting traffic to inside lanes from Brightwood Avenue to I-65. At least one lane will remain open in each direction.
· From now through August 2020, I-440 will be restricted to two travel lanes in each direction from 5AM-9PM and one travel lane in each direction from 9PM-5AM.
· Look Ahead - Friday, September 20 at 9 p.m. through Monday, September 23 at 5 a.m., the I-440 interchange at I-65 will be closed to place beams in order to connect the two I-440 bridges for the $152.9 million I-440 reconstruction project. Traffic going towards the interchange will be reduced to one lane and detoured away from the construction area.
o Eastbound traffic on I-440 will be detoured to I-65 southbound.
o Westbound traffic on I-440 will be detoured to I-65 northbound.
o Northbound traffic on I-65 will be detoured to I-440 eastbound.
o Southbound traffic on I-65 will be detoured to I-440 westbound.
o Franklin Road will be closed from Berry Road to Woodmont Boulevard.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the bridges on I-24 over US 31 E (SR6) over Woodland Street (LM 14.54) and the Cumberland River (LM 15.23)
· Look Ahead - Friday, September 27 at 9PM through Monday, September 30 at 5AM, I-24 will be closed on the downtown interstate loop from I-40 at the Silliman Evans Bridge to I-65 to repair bridge joints at the Woodland Street, Main Street, and Silliman Evans bridges.
o Interstate traffic will be detoured to I-40 and I-65. East Nashville traffic will be able to access local routes to cross the Cumberland River, including Shelby Avenue, Main Street, Woodland Street, and Spring Street. Map with detour information is available here.
o Local traffic will be able to access I-24 westbound at Spring Street. There will be intermittent closures of the I-24 eastbound on-ramp at Shelby Avenue for maintenance activities.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Interchange improvements on I-24 at Hickory Hollow Parkway
· From now through February 2020, The I-24 westbound off-ramp at Hickory Hollow will be shut down to reconstruct the ramp.
· Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-24 eastbound between MM 60-62 for construction activities.
· Look Ahead – Thursday, September 19, 8PM-5AM, Friday, September 20 at 8PM through Saturday, September 21 at 3PM, There will be temporary closures of the two outside eastbound lanes on I-24 at Old Hickory Blvd for barrier wall removal, asphalt, and concrete paving. Two lanes will remain open at all times.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 70 (SR 1) from the Cheatham County line (LM 0) to south of Harpeth Valley Road (LM 5.19)
· Daily, 9AM-3:30PM, There will be a temporary lane closure for guardrail installation and paving. At least one lane will be open at all times.
· Saturday September 14 and Sunday September 15, 6AM-6PM, There will be lane closures for paving and striping.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Hillwood Blvd Bridge Replacement
· Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure as needed from SR 1 to Post Road for bridge replacement work.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 12 from near SR 112 (LM 4.62) to south of Industrial Parkway (LM 6.22)
· Daily, 9AM-2:30PM (excluding Sundays), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 12 (Ashland City Highway) for paving and striping between SR 112 and Industrial Parkway.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 100 from Temple Rd (LM 6.00) to Old Hickory Blvd (LM 8.26) and from Old Hickory Blvd (LM 8.26) to Heady Dr (LM 12.08)
· Nightly, 8PM-6AM and Daily 9AM-3PM, There will a lane closure for paving and striping.
MACON COUNTY, Safety Improvements on SR 52 from SR 141 (LM 3.06) to Old Highway 52 (LM 3.39)
· Daily, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lanes closures on SR 52 in both directions for paving and pavement marking activities. One lane will remain open.
MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing SR-50 from Hampshire Pike to West 7th Street
· Daily, 9AM-3:30PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR-50 for resurfacing activates.
MAURY COUNTY, City of Columbia West 7th Multimodal Streetscape
· Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 99 between MM 16.40-16.80 in the westbound lane to rehab curb, gutter, and sidewalk area.
MAURY COUNTY, Widening of Duplex Road from US 31 to Secluded Lane
· Daily, 9AM-3:30PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 247 for road widening.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing and Curb Ramp Installation on SR 12
· Nightly, 7PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on SR 12 (Ft. Campbell Blvd) between Red River Bridge and the SR 374 junction.
ROBERTSON COUNTY, The resurfacing on US 41 (SR 11) from Lights Chapel Road (LM 4.30) to US 431 (LM 9.32)
· Nightly, 7PM-6AM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 11 for milling and traffic signal installation.
ROBERTSON and SUMNER COUNTY, S.I.A. Serving Project "Deepdish"
· Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 52 and US 31W for phase 2 construction activities. One lane will remain open.
RUTHERFORD COUNTY, The Resurfacing of I-24 from the Davidson County line to the Rocky Fork Overpass
· Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions between MM 64-69 for milling and paving.
RUTHERFORD COUNTY, The Resurfacing of SR 10 (US 231) from Tiger Hill to North of Rutherford Blvd
· Nightly 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 between MM 8.67-12.08 in both directions for construction activities. One lane will remain open at all times.
RUTHERFORD COUNTY, The resurfacing on SR 102 from north of Mercedes Drive to the bridge over Olive Branch
· Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 102 for guardrail, milling and paving operations. There will be a combination of lane closures and flagging operations.
SMITH COUNTY, The repair of the I-40 WB bridge over Caney Fork River at M.M. 263.1 (L.M. 12.99)
· Thursday September 12 and Sunday September 15, 7PM-5AM, I-40 westbound will be down to one lane for milling and paving operations at MM 263. One westbound lane will remain open.
SMITH COUNTY, Resurfacing S.R. 96 from the Putnam County Line (L.M. 0.00) to the Putnam County Line (L.M. 0.660)
· Daily, 9AM-3:30PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 96 in both directions for paving activities. One lane will remain open.
SMITH COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 53 from SR 141/SR 264 (LM 11.04) to US 70N (SR 24) (LM 15.66)
· Daily, 9AM-3:30PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 53 in both directions for paving activities. One lane will remain open.
· Saturday, September 14 at 7AM through Monday, September 16 at 5AM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 53 at the bridge over SR 24 for concrete repair work.
SUMNER COUNTY, The resurfacing on S.R. 386 from the bridge over U.S. 31E (S.R. 6) (L.M. 7.63) to east of Greenlea Blvd. (L.M. 12.07)
· Nightly, 8PM-6AM, There will be temporary lane closures on S.R. 386 in both directions for milling activities between MM 7-12. One lane will remain open in both directions.
SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 6 from north of Alexander Lane (LM 22.40) to south of SR 376 (LM 26.79)
· Daily, 6AM-6PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 6 in both directions for paving work. One lane will remain open.
SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing of S.R. 25 from S.R. 109 (L.M. 12.95) to Kraft Street (L.M. 15.98)
· Nightly, 8PM-6AM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 25 in both directions for curb ramp repair activities. One lane will remain open.
SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 174 from SR 52 (LM 29.66) to Kentucky State Line (LM 39.68)
· Daily, 6AM-6PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 174 in both directions for milling and paving activities. One lane will remain open.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on I-40 eastbound near MM 180 for a truck climbing lane
· Nightly, 8PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound in order to pave ramps at exit 182.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Grading, drainage, and paving on SR 11 at the intersection of SR 96 in Triune
· Daily, 8AM-4PM, There will be a lane closure on SR11 northbound and SR 96 westbound (MM 23.40-23.76) for construction activities.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Grading, Drainage, and Paving Work on SR 6 (Franklin Road) from south of Moore's Lane (LM 15.93) to Concord Road (18.53)
· From now through September 25, 6PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on Franklin Road for water line installation at the Holly Tree Gap intersection. There will also be a lane closure on Holly Tree Gap Road. Traffic will be flagged.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 46 from north of Settlers Court (LM 5.46) to near Natchez Trace Parkway (LM 12)
· Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure for signage and guardrail. At least one lane will remain open.
WILSON COUNTY, Widening on SR 141 from South of Spring Creek to North of Lovers Lane
· Daily, 6AM-6PM, There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 141 for construction activities. One lane will remain open in each direction.
WILSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 26 over Sinking Creek
· Through December 2019, SR 26 will be down to one 10' lane in each direction on the bridge over Sinking Creek. One lane will be open in each direction.
WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing from US 70 (SR 24) (LM 18) to the Smith County Line (LM 27.73)
· Weekdays, 9AM-3:30PM, Weekends, 6:30AM-6:30PM There will be temporary lane closures on SR 24 in both directions for striping activities. One lane will remain open.
WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing SR 141 from East of Stokes Street (LM 10.54) to Sugar Flat Road (LM 14.59)
· Weekdays, 9AM-3:30PM, Weekends 6:30AM-6:30PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 141 in both directions for striping activities. One lane will remain open.
WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on U.S. 231 (SR 10) from Market Street (L.M. 14.41) to near Forrest avenue (L.M. 15.18)
· Weekdays 9AM-3:30PM, Weekends 6AM-6:30PM, There will be temporary lane closures on U.S. 231 (SR 10) in both directions for curb ramp repair activities.

· Saturday September 14 and Sunday September 15, 6AM-Noon, There will be a lane closure on I-65 at MM 39-40 for slope mowing and vegetation control.
ROBERTSON COUNTY
· Nightly starting Monday, September 16, 8PM-4AM, There will be intermittent lane closures on I-65 between MM 108-117 for paving work.
· Sunday, September 16, 6AM-8AM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 northbound at exit 112 for Comcast work.
RUTHERFORD COUNTY
· Wednesday September 11 through Friday, September 13, 6PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-24 at MM 88 for paving work.
· Wednesday September 11 through Friday, September 13, 6PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-24 at MM 78 for paving work.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY
· Saturday, September 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on I-840 westbound between Carter Creek and SR 100 for slope mowing.
