KNOX COUNTY, I-75 South at Merchants Drive (Exit 108): Motorists traveling on I-75 South in Knoxville should be alert for lane closures that will have a significant impact on travel this weekend. Beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2019, I-75 South will be reduced to two narrowed lanes across the bridge over Merchants near Mile Marker 108 as crews perform scheduled bridge repairs at this location. These lane closures are estimated to remain in place until 6 a.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019. Crews will be working 24/7 to complete these scheduled repairs.
