District 47 - West TN - Northern
CARROLL COUNTY, SR-76 (US-79): Monday, January 7 through Thursday, February 28, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.: 
There will be temporary lane closures along SR 76 (US-79) between Cutlip Lane and Winston Road for soil borings.

DYER COUNTY, SR-3 (US-51): Repair of bridges over South Fork Forked Deer River. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway in a construction zone. Traffic is reduced to one lane on US 51 (SR 3) in both north and southbound directions, from LM 24.73 to LM 25.00 in Lauderdale County and LM 0.00 to LM 0.40 in Dyer County. SR 3 (US 51) northbound traffic is then shifted to the southbound lanes in the crossover areas. *Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 portion of the project.
Restrictions: There is a 12’ 10” lane restriction.

DYER/OBION COUNTIES, SR-3 (US-51): Tuesday, February 26: There will be temporary lane closures for coring every mile in the right-hand lanes in both directions. Coring’s are needed in Dyer County from LM 12.5 to the Obion County Line (LM 24.68), then in Obion County from LM 0.0 to LM 9.0 and LM 23.0 to the KY State Line (LM 30.8).

DYER COUNTY, SR-20 (US-412): Repair of bridges over Lewis Creek. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.
On Thursday, December 6, 2018 both the northbound and southbound lanes are open to traffic on SR 20 from (L.M. 2.16 to L.M 2.74). Temporary lane closures are possible throughout the remaining duration of the job. Construction signs and message boards are in use.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-54: The grading, drainage, construction of bridges, retaining wall and paving on SR 54 from near Rison Street to near Smith Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. *Speed limit has been reduced to 35MPH.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-78: Construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee bridge on SR 78 over drainage ditch including grading, drainage, and paving will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

OBION COUNTY, Future I-69: Grading, drainage, construction of eight bridges on future I-69 from south of US 51 (SR 3) to south of US 45W (SR 5) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 (SR 3) portion of the project. The southbound traffic has been switched to the northbound side on SR 3 throughout the work zone, for phase 2 construction.
Restrictions: Tuesday, November 13, 2018 SR 3 has a lane shift in the north and southbound directions. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ 6” lane restriction.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-22: The repair of the bridge on Hyndsver Road over SR 22 will cause a lane closure in both directions on SR 22. Hyndsver Road will be closed for the duration of the project.

District 48 - West TN – Middle/Southern
HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass):
The construction of an I-Beam bridge along with grading, drainage, and paving may cause temporary lane closures on SR 19 (Brownsville Bypass) from east of SR 87 LM 11.12 to west of Windrow Rd. LM 14.73. One lane will remain open at all times. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128:  The grading, drainage, and paving on SR 128 from south of One Stop Drive to south of Opel Loop. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-186 (US 45 Bypass) and I-40: Interchange improvements on SR 186 (US 45) north and southbound from the I-40 ramps to Old Hickory Blvd for paving and construction of retaining walls.  Widening of I-40 from just east of Exit 79 to just east of Exit 82.
Monday, February 25, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: Close and detour I-40 east and westbound onto existing ramps at Exit 80 (Hwy 45 Bypass). Close and detour Hwy 45 Bypass north and southbound at interchange to allow for deck pours.

Backup dates Tuesday, February 26, through Sunday, March 3, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.

TDOT District 48 MAINTENANCE:
Wednesday, February 20, through Wednesday, February 27, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:
There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to repair pavement on an as needed basis.
Thursday, February 21, 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:
There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 in Madison County east and west bound MM 67.0 to MM 95.0 for pothole repair. One lane will remain open. THP to assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

Thursday, February 21, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 in Henderson and Decatur Counties east and westbound MM 101.0 to MM 126.0 for pothole repair. One lane will remain open. THP to assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

District 49 - West TN – Southwest
FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-18:
Miscellaneous safety improvements on SR 18 at the intersection of SR 57 LM 3.90 - LM 4.30

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-210: Repair of the bridges on SR 210 over the South Fork Forked Deer River will cause possible lane closures through the project.
Restrictions: Monday, February 11 through Friday, May 31. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 12’ lane restriction controlled by temporary traffic signal.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 MemFix 4: Replacement of Norfolk Southern, SR 57 east and westbound bridges, and repair of Park Avenue bridge over I-240.

Park Avenue: The right lane heading west will be closed through March 15th.

·         Wednesday, February 20 through Thursday, February 21, and Monday, February 25 through Thursday, February 28, 9:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. – There will be lane closures on I-240 east and westbound and Poplar Ave east and westbound.  The associated ramps from I-240 and Poplar Ave will also be CLOSED with the exception of Poplar westbound to I-240 eastbound.

·         Friday, February 22, 9:00 p.m. until Monday, February 25, 6:00 a.m. – There will be lane closures on I-240 east and westbound and Poplar Ave east and westbound.  Ramps associated with the lane closures from I-240 and Poplar Ave will also be CLOSED.  Detours will be provided when needed.

: INTERMITTENT lane and shoulder closures on I-240 westbound from MM 23.0 (Airways Blvd exit) to MM 25.0 (I-240/I-55 JCT) to perform ITS-related Construction activities.  Weather Permitting

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240/I-55 JCT - Vegetation Removal:
Thursday, February 21 through Saturday, February 23, and Monday, February 25, through Wednesday, February 27, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: INTERMITTENT
lane closures I-240 east and westbound between MM 25.0 (northbound off-ramp to I-55) and 27.0 (South Parkway) and RAMP CLOSURE southbound off-ramp at Third St. (LM 7.8) to allow vegetation removal. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 - Concrete Pavement Repair: Region 4 - District 49 - contractor will perform concrete pavement repair
Thursday, February 21  8:00 p.m.-5:00 a.m., and Friday, February 22, 8:00 p.m. through, Monday, February 25, 5:00 a.m.: RAMP CLOSURE westbound I-40 (LM 10.0) at SR-14 NB off-ramp (Exit 8 to Jackson Ave) to allow for concrete pavement repair. Weather Permitting

I-240 eastbound off-ramp to northbound SR-176 (Getwell Rd.) exit 20 LM 10.8 to allow for drain repairs. Weather Permitting

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 - Bridge Lighting Repair:
Monday, February 25 through Thursday, February 28, 7:00 p.m.-5:00 a.m.: INTERMITTENT
lane closures I-40 east and westbound at MM 0.00 on the Mississippi River Bridge to allow for bridge lighting repairs. Weather Permitting

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Construction of a welded steel plate girder bridge on SR 1 over the Loosahatchie River near the Fayette County line will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on SR 14 for a widening project from SR 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: The grading, drainage, construction of concrete Bulb-Tee and I-beam bridges, signals and paving on SR 14 from east of Old Covington Pike to SR 385 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

 

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14:  A bridge repair at Raleigh-Millington Exit:
Wednesday, February 20, 12:00 a.m. through Thursday, April, 30:
The Raleigh-Millington Exit from northbound SR 14 to Raleigh-Millington will be closed for repairs.

SHELBY COUNTY, City of Memphis – US-72/SR-57 (Poplar Avenue Westbound) - Road Widening Project
Friday, February 22 through Sunday, February 24, 9:00a.m.-5:00p.m.: Left Lane Closure
on Poplar Avenue westbound from 450 east of Brookfield Road to 550 west of Brookfield Road to allow for the widening of the roadway.  Weather Permitting

TDOT District 49 On-Call Guardrail/Concrete Barrier Rail Repair:
Wednesday, February 20, through Tuesday, February 26, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.:
  There will be night time lane closures on SR 385, I-240, I-55, I-40, I-269 (Fayette and Shelby Counties), SR 14 (Shelby County), SR 15 (Shelby County), and SR 3 (Shelby and Tipton Counties). One lane will be CLOSED to repair damaged guardrail. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

Thursday, February 21, through Wednesday, February 27, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: There will be day time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. If weather prohibits, the repairs will be performed on the next available day. Flagmen will be used where necessary. Weather Permitting.

  • Fayette Co., SR 57 east and westbound, MM 3.0 – MM 23.0, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED. Flagmen will be used.
  • Fayette County, SR 1, westbound, MM 0.0 – MM 8.0
  • Lauderdale Co., SR 209 east and westbound, MM 0.0 – MM 19.0, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED. Flagmen will be used.
  • Lauderdale Co., SR 19 east and westbound, MM 0.0 – MM 26.0, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED. Flagmen will be used.
  • Lauderdale Co., SR 371 north and southbound, MM 1.4; One lane will be CLOSED. Flagmen will be used.
  • Shelby Co. SR 14, northbound and southbound, MM 7.0 – MM 30.2, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED.
  • Shelby County, SR 204, northbound, MM10.6. One lane will be CLOSED.
  • Tipton Co., SR 3 north and southbound, MM 0.0 – MM 25.0, various locations; Shoulder closure ONLY. Flagmen will be used.
