Thursday, May 5, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.: There will be a temporary lane closure on I-40 westbound between mile marker 131.9 and 133.0 for coring of shoulder. Weather Permitting.

DYER COUNTY, I-155: Bridge Repair project on I-155 over the Mississippi River​
Thursday, July 23, 2015 through Wednesday, August 31, 2016: There will be lane closures eastbound and westbound on I-155 over the Mississippi River Bridge, for duration of the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 14’ 10.5” lane restriction. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

DYER COUNTY, SR-3: There will be a night time rolling roadblocks for snow plowable pavement marker repairs.

DYER COUNTY, SR-20: There will be a night time rolling roadblocks for snow plowable pavement marker repairs.

DYER COUNTY, SR-78: There will be a night time rolling roadblocks for snow plowable pavement marker repairs.

DYER COUNTY, SR-211: There will be a night time rolling roadblocks for snow plowable pavement marker repairs.

FAYETTE and HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-222: A grading project on State Route 222 from north of I-40 to south of Camp Ground Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

Gibson County, SR-43: Longitudinal Joint Stabilization will cause temporary lane closures from State Route 187 Access Rd to Woodlawn St.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): A widening project on State Route 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-22: There will be temporary lane closures northbound on State Route 22 between mile marker 6.05 and 6.50 for guardrail repair.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-57: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations on State Route 57 in Counce to bore multiple crossing in preparation of crossing signal installations

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on State Route 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR-15) in Savannah will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HENRY COUNTY, SR 76: April 25 through May 9: There will be temporary lane closures between log mile 4.5-5.5. The closure is for the construction of a turn lane, median crossover, and driveway connection.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-140: Bridge Repair project on State Route 140 over Mill Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 10’ lane restriction.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-218: Grading, drainage, construction of I-beam bridge and paving 2.6 miles on State Route 218 from State Route 69 northwest of Paris to US-641 (State Route 54). On Friday May 8, 2015, Iron Banks Road was closed to thru traffic until approximately October 31, 2016.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-21: Bridge Repair project on State Route 21 over Reelfoot Spillway at log mile 7.61 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-3: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Shelby County line to Woodlawn Avenue.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-88: Tuesday, May 3 through Friday, May 6: The railroad crossing will be closed near Gates. Detour route will be posted.

MADISON COUNTY, I-40:  Saturday, May 7, 7:00 a. m.-2:00 p. m.: There will be a temporary lane closure on I-40 eastbound near mile marker 84.0 for bridge repair work.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-5: Monday, February 29 through Sunday, May 29, 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.:  There will be possible lane closures northbound (right lane) and southbound (right lane) on State Route 5 near the railroad bridge at Three Way to build a gas line. Two lanes will remain open in both directions.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-18: Construction of a concrete box bridge on State Route 18 over Meridian Creek log mile 4.70 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. A temporary signal will be utilized. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 11’ lane restriction.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-197: Construction of 2 concrete I-beam bridges, grading, drainage and paving​
Beginning Friday April 15, 2016 through Wednesday, May 31, 2017: There will be lane a closure on State Route 197, just east of Beech Bluff Rd. over branch at log miles 8.56-8.7 for duration of the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 11’ lane restriction.

OBION COUNTY, SR-3: There will be a night time rolling roadblocks for snow plowable pavement marker repairs.

OBION COUNTY, SR-5: There will be a night time rolling roadblocks for snow plowable pavement marker repairs.

OBION COUNTY, SR-22: There will be a night time rolling roadblocks for snow plowable pavement marker repairs.

OBION COUNTY, SR-89: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Dyer County line to the Gibson County line.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday, May 4 through Wednesday, May 11: I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.  There are lane shifts eastbound and westbound on I-40. Beginning December 5, 2014, there are transitions southbound and northbound on Canada Road.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements:
Sam Cooper EB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound is CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange.
Sam Cooper WB: The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound is CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange. (Two left lanes are open)​
I-240: There are shoulder closures in both directions of I-240 between Walnut Grove and I-40 interchange. One lane of northbound I-240 is also CLOSED in this same section.​
I-40 WB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge. (1 lane Sam Cooper, 1 lane I-240W, 1 lane I-40W/new flyover)​
I-40 EB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge. (1 lane I-240E to I-40E, 1 lane I-40E (new flyover) 1 lane Sam Cooper​
I-240 EB ramp has 1 lane open.​
I-240 EB to I-40 WB has the left lane closed.
Summer Ave. Exit:  The Summer Ave. exit from I-40 WB will remain closed until completion of Wolf River Bridge.  Motorist must exit off I-40 WB at Exit 12 (Sycamore View) and follow detour to Summer Ave.
Covington Pike is one lane in each direction at the I-40 Interchange.
Summer Ave. exit (Exit 12A) from I-40W will temporarily close for 3-4 weeks beginning Saturday, April 2nd 

LOOK AHEAD:

    Friday night, May 13 at 8:00 p.m. through Sunday morning, May 15 at 6:00 a.m.

INTERMITTENT lane closures on eastbound I-40/westbound I-240 from LM-9.4 extending to westbound I-240 LM-11.8 to allow for asphalt milling and repaving construction operations. NOTE: 2 lanes minimum to remain open.

* Friday night, May 20 at 8:00 p.m. through Monday morning, May 23 at 6:00 a.m. will serve as backup weekend.

    Saturday, May 14 from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

CLOSE the outside lane of westbound I-40 beginning at LM-10.6 extending the Covington Pike overpass and CLOSE the Covington Pike exit ramp (Exit 10) to allow for the relocation of traffic onto the temporary exit ramp.

*Sunday, May 8 and Saturday, May 14 will serve as backup dates.

    Sunday morning, May 15 at 6:00 a.m. through Monday morning, May 16 at 6:00 a.m.

INTERMITTENT lane closures on eastbound I-40/westbound I-240 from LM-9.4 extending to westbound I-240 LM-11.8 to allow for asphalt milling and repaving construction operations.

* Friday night, May 20 at 8:00 p.m. through Monday morning, May 23 at 6:00 a.m. will serve as backup weekend.

    Saturday, May 14 from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

CLOSE the outside lane of westbound I-40 beginning at the Covington Pike exit ramp (Exit 10) extending to LM-9.8 and CLOSE the westbound I-40 entrance ramp from Covington Pike to allow for the relocation of traffic onto the temporary entrance ramp.

*Sunday, May 15 and Saturday, May 21 will serve as backup dates.

    Friday night, May 20 at 8:00 p.m. through Monday morning, May 23 at 6:00 a.m.

INTERMITTENT double lane closures on eastbound I-40/westbound I-240 from LM-9.4 extending to westbound I-240 LM-11.8 to allow for asphalt milling and repaving construction operations.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing on from west of Sycamore View (L.M. 15.54) to west of Davies Plantation Road (LM-22.98)

Wednesday, May 4 & Thursday, May 5, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.: I-40 east and westbound will have nightly lane closures from Davies Plantation log mile 22.98 to Sycamore View log mile 15.54 for milling and paving operations. One lane will remain open.

*Monday, May 16 through Thursday, May 19 will serve as backup dates.

Saturday, May 7, 4:00 a. m. through Monday, May 9, 5:00 a. m.: Whitten Rd “On” Ramp to I-40 Westbound will be closed for concrete repairs.

*Saturday, May 21, through Monday, May 23, will serve as backup dates.

Sunday, May 8, through Tuesday, May 10, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.: I-40 east and westbound will have nightly lane closures from Davies Plantation log mile 22.98 to Sycamore View log mile 15.54 for milling and paving operations.

One lane will remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY – I-40 Bridge, Hernando Desoto Bridge over the Mississippi River Bridge

Thursday, May 05, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: There will be a temporary lane closure eastbound, at the I-40 Bridge, Hernando Desoto Bridge, over the Mississippi River for a short Recon with Tennessee Tech University and CERI, the center for Earthquake and Research and Information. The work will be concentrated at the three main Piers, A, B and C at the Truss to check the seismic instruments for upgrade that are attached to the bridge.

SHELBY COUNTY - Drain Cleaning

Monday, May 2 through Thursday, May 5, 7:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations for drain cleaning. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound (LM 14.0 to LM 17.42), one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound (LM 17.42/Whitten Road to LM 30.63/Fayette County), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-385, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound (LM 4.90/Winchester Road to LM 16.00/Fayette County line), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-385, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound (LM 6.50/Donelson Farm Parkway to LM 0.00/Exit 193), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-385, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound (LM 7.07 to LM 23.95), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-204, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound (LM 4.73 to LM 11.13), one lane will remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from west of Kentucky Street to State Route 4. The contractor is working on bike lane item.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Construction of a welded steel plate girder bridge on State Route 1 over the Loosahatchie River will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-4: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from US-51 (State Route 3) to US-70 (State Route 1). The contractor is working on bike lane item.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Bridge Repair on State Route 14 over overflows log mile 26.28, 26.58 & 26.74, Loosahatchie River log mile 26.90 and overflow log mile 27.25 will result in lane shifts every day. Beginning Monday, February 22, 9:00 a. m. until Thursday, June 30, there will be a temporary signal utilized with a 11’ 6” width restriction at log mile 26.74.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on State Route 14 for a widening project from State Route 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. April 27, 2015 through May 11, 2016, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a. m. there will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH. As of May 13, 2015, Egypt-Central Road and Momosa Road have been CLOSED to thru traffic until June 2016.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72): Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project to completed punch list items.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-175: Grade, drain, and pave on State Route 175 (Byhalia Road) from south of Shelby Post Road to south of State Route 385 will cause possible lane closure.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385: Safety Improvements using High Friction Surface Treatment
Friday, May 6, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, May 9, 6:00 a. m.: There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT REGION 4 Retracing of Pavement Marking with Spraythermo

Monday, May 9 & Tuesday, May 10, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be temporary night time lane closures at the following locations for the retracing of pavement markings on ramps. Weather Permitting.

  • I-55, Shelby County, northbound & southbound at State Line Road (Exit 1) through I-240 (Exit 6), at least one lane will remain open.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail Repair
Sunday, May 8 through Thursday, May 12, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound (mile marker 1.0 to mile marker 32.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-240, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound, southbound & northbound (mile marker 1.0 to mile marker 30.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-55, Shelby County, northbound & southbound (mile marker 1.0 to mile marker 12.0), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-385, Shelby County, northbound & southbound, eastbound & westbound (mile marker 1.0 to mile marker 49.0), one lane will remain open.

TDOT MAINTENANCE:
Wednesday, May 4 through Wednesday, May 18, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

TIPTON and HAYWOOD COUNTIES, SR-54: Wednesday, April 27 through Wednesday, May 4: Bridge Repair on State Route 54 over Hatchie River at log mile 9.60. A signal system will be utilized. On July 6, 2015, State Route 54 over Hatchie River, traffic was reduced to one lane with a 11’ 2” lane restriction. Eastbound lane is now closed to traffic for expansion joint repair and installation of steel reinforcements.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-22: Bridge Repair project on State Route 22 at the Old Salem Road log mile 22.76 and Terrell Road log mile 28.85 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

WEAKLEY County, SR-22: Longitudinal Joint Stabilization will cause temporary lane closures from State Route 43 log mile 24.41 to the Weakley-Obion County Line log mile 29.64.
