BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)
From now through June 2016, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River
From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of an Overhead Sign Structure on I-24WB

  • Thursday March 17 and Friday March 23, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be a shoulder closure on I-24 westbound at MM 54 (Briley Parkway) to install overhead sign footings.
  • Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be partial ramp closure on I-24 westbound at MM 54 (Briley Parkway) to install overhead sign footings. Ramp will remain open and two lanes of traffic will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening on I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Pike and Noise Walls on I-65
Thursday March 17, Friday March 18 & Monday March 21 through Wednesday March 23, 9AM–3PM, There will be possible lane closures of I-65 in both directions from MM 87 (Trinity Lane) to MM 90 (Dickerson Road) to allow for guardrail repair, texture coating, ground mounted sign installation, and light pole installation.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Slope Stabilization & Construction of a Graded Solid Rock Buttress on I-65 NB
Saturday March 19, 12AM (Midnight) – 5PM, There will be four lanes closed on I-65 northbound from MM 91 (just north of Briley Parkway) to MM 92 (Old Hickory Blvd) for blasting operations. Two lanes will remain open except at the time of blasting. During the actual blast time at 7 AM, all lanes of I-65 southbound will also be closed from MM 91 to MM 92. All Southbound lanes will reopen after initial blast.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, On-Call Pavement Markings in Region 3
Thursday March 17, 8PM-4AM, There will lane closures on I-65 northbound at MM 78 (SR 255/Harding) exit ramp in Davidson County in order to redesign pavement markings. 

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, SmartWay ITS I-65 (North of Nashville) Expansion Project
Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on I-65 in both directions between MM 94 (Vietnam Veterans Blvd.) and MM 110 (SR 25) for proofing and wire pulling and CCTV foundations.

DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, Removal and Replacement of HOV Signing and Thermoplastic Markings on I-65

  • Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be shoulder closures on I-65 at MM 78 (Harding Place) through MM 65 (SR 96) for drilling for HOV signage.
  • Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 in both directions at MM 80 (just south of I-440) to install HOV signage between the guardrail.

DICKSON COUNTY, Paving on I-40 at MM 174
Thursday March 17, 6PM through Friday March 18, 5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound from MM 174 to MM 176 (SR 840) for milling & paving operations. State troopers will be present.

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52
Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations, and utility relocation.

HICKMAN COUNTY, Construction of a Concrete Bulb-Tee Beam Bridge on S.R. 50 over the Duck River
Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 30, 8AM-4PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 50 in Hickman County at LM 14.04 to install concrete deck panels across the Duck River.

HICKMAN AND HUMPHREYS COUNTIES, Interchange Improvements on I-40 at SR 50
From now through November 2016, There will be shoulder closures on I-40 in both directions in Humphreys/Hickman County at MM 147.5 to 148.5 in order to extend the I-40 ramps at SR 50.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Grading, Drainage and Paving on SIA Route Serving Nissan North America
From now through the end of August, Singer Road, from North Broad Street to the Nissan North America entrance, will be closed to through traffic.  This closure will remain in place until the project has been completed or until 8/31/16.  Local business access within the project limits will be provided.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing I-24 from MM 78.5 (Stones River Bridge) to MM 82 (East of the Bridge over CSX Railroad)
Friday March 18, 10PM-7AM and Saturday March 19, 10PM through Monday March 21, 5AM, There will be partial lane closures on I-24 westbound at exit ramp 81 (Hwy 231, Church Street) for saw cutting of existing concrete pavement.  Traffic will be shifted on the ramp to allow the ramp to remain open to traffic.  Following completion of sawing westbound exit ramp 81, if time permits, I-24 eastbound exit ramp 81A (Hwy 231, Church Street) will be partially closed for saw cutting of existing concrete pavement.

SMITH COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 80 over Peyton Creek
From now through November 2016, SR 80 will be reduced to one lane at the bridges over Peyton Creek (LM 5.75 and LM 7.00) near Sawmill Lane for bridge repair work. Temporary traffic signals will be in place.

SMITH COUNTY, Bridge Repair on US 70N/SR 24 over Caney Fork River
From now through July 2016, The US 70N/SR 24 bridge over the Caney Fork River will be closed for construction. A signed detour is in place.

TROUSDALE COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 260 over Little Goose Creek
From now through July 2016, SR 260 will be closed at the bridge over Little Goose Creek (LM 5.58) for bridge repair work. Detours will be in place.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road
Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic lane closures on Concord Road for construction operations. Traffic will be flagged as needed.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, SmartWay ITS I-65 (South of Nashville) Expansion Project

  • Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be lane closures on SR 840 in both directions, from MM 28 to MM 35, for bridge conduit and pull box installation.
  • Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends) There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 southbound from MM 76 (between Old Hickory Blvd and Harding Place) to MM 56 (between Saturn Pkwy and SR 840), for conduit and pull box installation.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Installation of Signals on US 31 (SR 6) at Miles Johnson Parkway in Spring Hill
Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on US 31 (SR 6) at Miles Johnson Parkway for signal work. Traffic will be affected in the northbound lanes and then the southbound lanes while crews pull wire and stand signals upright.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248
Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic lane closures on Peytonsville Road and Goose Creek Bypass between Long Lane and Lewisburg Pike to install traffic loops.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Repair of the Bridges on SR 840 over Boston-Theta Road and Sycamore Creek
From now through August 31, 2016, There will be lane closures on SR 840 in both directions on the bridges over Boston-Theta Rd (LM 13) to perform bridge repair operations.

Thursday March 17 through Wednesday March 23, 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations for drainage grate cleaning.

Giles County
Thursday March 17 and Friday March 18, 8AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 southbound between MM 8 and MM 10 for the removal of large boulders and rock. The shoulder and outside lane will be closed for the duration of the removal.  One lane will remain open southbound.

Wednesday March 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 1 (US 41/US 70S) northbound in the Sam Griffin intersection area for survey work. One lane northbound will remain open. Southbound traffic will not be affected.

From now through Friday April 1, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) eastbound, between 22nd Street and 26th Street in the City of Lakewood, in order for Metro Water Services to line a sewer main.
From now through Friday April 1, 9AM -7PM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 (Caldwell Lane) northbound in order to install a new water main.
From now through Friday April 1, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on 40th Ave and SR 24 (US 70/Charlotte Pike) in order for Metro Water Services to make a water tap.
Wednesday March 16 through Friday March 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 24 westbound (Charlotte Ave) between 11th and 12th Ave. for Metro Water to set meter vault.
From now through Friday April 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 11 for NES to remove and replace existing power poles between SR 45 (OHB) and Hunters Lane. 
From now through Thursday March 24, 9PM-6AM, SR 1 (US-70S/Memphis Bristol Highway) will have lane closures from Carriage Lane to intersection of Sawyer Brown Road overnight to install UV cured in place sewer liner.
From now through Wednesday March 16, (excluding weekends) 9AM-3PM,There will be lane closures on SR-11 (Dickerson Pike) Metro Water and Sewer placing 2-4” water services and attaching to an existing 6” water main around  Evanston Avenue.
From now through Thursday March 24, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), SR-24 (Charlotte Ave) Crown Castle (AFG) will need lane closures to tie-into NES Man Hole located in roadway to install power services.
Monday March 21 through Wednesday March 23, 9AM-3PM, Metro Water and Sewer will have lane closures to lay an 8” water service in the southern margin of Broadway and connect to an existing 24” water main east of 5th Ave. S. 170’.

City of Gallatin, Sumner County
From now through Sunday March 20, 6:30AM, SR 25 will be closed at MM 15 in both directions for crosswalk replacement. This is a City of Gallatin project.  Detours will be in place.

Montgomery County
Saturday March 19, 5AM-10AM (weather permitting), There will be a lane closure on I-24 eastbound at MM 7 to remove diesel fuel impacted soil from the right side and median and then remediate the project site.

Williamson County
From now through Thursday March 24 , 8PM-6AM,  SR 6 (Franklin Road) will have lane closures for NES to  remove and replace poles, install new anchors and place underground conduits near the intersection of Chadwick Dr.
From now through Thursday March 24, 8PM-5AM (Excluding weekends), SR-6 lane closure for NES to replace poles and installing anchors near the intersection of Chadwick Dr. also crossing Franklin Rd to serve the Hill Center.

Wilson County
Sunday April 3, 6AM-10AM, There will be a rolling block on I-40 between MM 226 and MM 228 in order for Middle Tn. Electric Membership Corp. to pull lines across the interstate for the Under Armour Plant.
