BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) over the Cumberland River

From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on SR 45 in Old Hickory due to bridge repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on I-40 at Charlotte Avenue, Johnston Avenue, Clinton Street, and Herman Street

From now through September 2015, 7AM-5PM, There will be a lane closure on 12th Avenue northbound, including the sidewalk and bike lane, to allow worker access to the median of I-40. 
From now through Monday August 17, There will be a lane closure on Jo Johnston Avenue eastbound, between 11th Avenue and George L Davis Blvd. The westbound lane will remain open. All lanes of Jo Johnston under I-40, between George L David Blvd and Frontage Road, will be closed for bridge repairs. Detours are in place.
Friday July 24, 8PM through Monday July 27, 6AM, All lanes of I-40 along the Nashville downtown loop will be closed, from the I-40/I-65 split west of downtown to the I-40/I-65 split south of downtown, for bridge repairs. Detours will be in place.
Monday July 27 through Friday August 7, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in both directions, between Herman Street and Charlotte Avenue, so that concrete barrier can be set and demolition may be performed.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Pike

From now through Friday July 31, Ewing Drive will be closed from Hillhurst Drive to Richmond Hills Drive for bridge construction. Detours are in place.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

Thursday July 23  through Wednesday July 29, 9AM–3PM,  There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24 (approximately between MM 58 and Elam Road) and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for pole installation, electrical service work, fiber optic cabling installation, conduit installation/proving/repairs, and staging of overhead sign structures.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Removal & Replacement of HOV Signing & Thermoplastic Markings on Various Interstates

Thursday July 23 through Wednesday July 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-24, including on-ramps, from the Davidson County line to SR 231 (Shelbyville Hwy) for HOV sign installation.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

Thursday July 23 through Wednesday July 29, 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations, and utility relocation.

 

MACON COUNTY, Resurfacing of SR 141 from SR 52 to the Trousdale County line

Thursday July 23 through Wednesday July 29, 6AM-4PM (excluding weekend), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 141 for degrassing and prepping roadway for paving.

 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on SR 237 over I-24 (Exit 8)

Saturday July 25, 7AM-3PM, I-24 eastbound will be closed at MM 8.0 for bridge construction.  Traffic will be detoured utilizing the on- and off-ramps at SR 237 (Rossview Road). The bridge over I-24 will be also closed to allow interstate traffic to maintain flow across the ramps.

 

ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, SmartWay ITS I-65 (North of Nashville) Expansion Project

Thursday July 23 through Wednesday July 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 southbound, from MM 97 to MM 110, and I-65 northbound, from MM 93.77 to MM 108, for trenching and conduit installation.
Thursday July 23 through Wednesday July 29, 9PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 southbound at MM 109.2 and I-65 northbound at MM 101.2 for geotechnical drilling. Uniformed officers will be utilized.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

Thursday July 23 through Wednesday July 29, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Broad Street (SR 1), Old Fort Pkwy (SR 96), and College Street for potential underground utility crossings. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 840 from near I-24 to West Fork Stone River Bridge

Thursday July 23 through Wednesday July 29, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 840 in both directions, approximately from MM 53 to MM 55, in order to mill and pave the roadway.  One lane will remain open in each direction. 
Friday July 24, 8PM through Monday July 27, 5AM, There will be lane closures on the SR 840 eastbound ramps to Smyrna and Murfreesboro (Exit 55A and Exit 55B) for concrete pavement repair work. Traffic will be shifted to the shoulder of the ramps. Only one ramp at a time will be affected.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing of I-24 from East of SR 840 to Stones River Bridge

Thursday July 23 through Wednesday July 29, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions, from MM 74 to MM 79, in order to epoxy overlay bridges and place thermoplastic pavement markings. At least one lane will remain open in each direction.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements on SR 258 (New Shackle Island Road) at Intersection of Stop Thirty Road and Old Shackle Island Road

Thursday July 23 through Wednesday July 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be a temporary, intermittent lane closure on New Shackle Road at Stop Thirty Road to allow trucks hauling material to enter the roadway. Flaggers will be utilized.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Maury County line to North of SR 840  

Thursday July 23 through Wednesday July 29, 8PM-5AM, (excluding weekend), There will be a lane closure on I-65 in both directions, from MM 53 to MM 59.5, for milling and paving operations. At least one lane will remain open in each direction.
Friday July 24, 8PM through Monday July 27, 5AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 between MM 57 and MM 58 for bridge deck repair. At least one lane will remain open in each direction.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

Thursday July 23 through Wednesday July 29, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during construction operations as needed.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, SmartWay ITS I-65 (South of Nashville) Expansion Project

Thursday July 23 through Wednesday July 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on SR 840 from MM 30 to MM 34 for trenching and conduit installation.
Thursday July 23 through Wednesday July 29, 9PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 840 from MM 28 to MM 30 for bridge conduit installation.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Interchange Lighting at I-40 and SR 171 (Mt Juliet Road)  

Thursday July 23 through Wednesday July 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on I-40 in both directions in order to install underground conduit, pull boxes, and pole foundations. All lanes will remain open.
Thursday July 23 through Wednesday July 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on the I-40 eastbound ramp to Mt. Juliet Rd N (Exit 226B) in order to unload project materials. All lanes will remain open.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 109 from North of US 70 (SR 24/ Lebanon Road) to the Cumberland River Bridge

Thursday July 23 through Friday July 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 for paving operations.
Saturday July 25, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 for paving operations.
Monday July 27 through Wednesday July 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 for paving operations.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

Thursday, July 23, 8PM-3AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions at MM 81 at the bridge over Wedgewood Avenue and at MM 80 at the bridge over Craighead Street for deck survey. Two lanes will remain open.
Tuesday, July 28 through Wednesday July 29, 8PM-3AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions at MM 47 at the bridge over North 1st Street for deck survey.  Two lanes will remain open.
Thursday, July 23, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Briley Pkwy (SR 155) in both directions, between Ashland City Hwy (SR 12) and James Avenue, in order to score rumbles on the shoulders.

 

Humphreys County

Thursday July 23, 7PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound at MM 139 for milling & paving operations. Troopers will be utilized.

 

Smith County

Thursday July 23 through Friday July 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 in both directions between MM 263 and MM 268 for bridge inspection.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

Davidson County

From now through Monday August 31, 7PM–6AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) northbound, from 26th Street to Hadley Ave in the Lakewood community, in order for Cumberland Valley Construction to install 16” transmission water line.
From now through Friday August 14, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekend), There will be lane closures on SR 106 (Hillsboro Pike) southbound between Overhill Drive and Castleman Drive for boring and potholing operations.
From now through Friday August 7, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekend), There will be lane closures on SR 24 (Broadway) southbound near the intersection of 6th Ave S for open trenching and digging in order to install a vault and connect to existing NES conduit.
From now through Friday July 31, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekend), There will be lane closures on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Road) northbound, between Fesslers Lane and Fairfield Drive, for boring and potholing operations.
From now through Friday July 31, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekend), There will be lane closures on SR 31 (8th Ave South) westbound, between Edgehill Ave and Wedgewood Ave, for boring and potholing operations.

Monday July 27 through Thursday July 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 (Gallatin Road) near Marion Avenue in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to install a new gas main.

 

Montgomery County

From now through Wednesday September 30, 8AM-6PM, There will be lane closures on SR 13, from McWhorter Road to east of Budds Creek Road in the Cunningham community, in order for Montgomery County Gas Authority to install 6” steel gas main.

 

Montgomery and Robertson Counties

Sunday July 26, through February 2016, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 76 eastbound, between Port Royal Road and Harmony Church Road, in the city of Adams in order for Cumberland Electric Membership Corp to place aerial cable at several locations.

City of Brentwood / Stansell Electric 

Thursday July 23 through Wednesday July 29, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekend), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 6 (Franklin Road), from South of Chadwick Drive to Executive Center Drive in Brentwood, to install signalization equipment.
