Roadway Plan Sales

Final construction plans for TDOT projects are maintained by the Roadway Design Division - Plan Sales Section.  If you are looking for a project that is currently being developed, you will need to contact the Regional Project Delivery Office.  TDOT does not maintain records of local roads.  Please contact the local government for those plans.  A plan sales request form should be completed and submitted to Plan.Sales@tn.gov.  When submitting requests, include as much identifying information as possible to ensure the correct plans are located and provided to a customer.  If you have a TDOT project number listed in the deeds or other documentation, please include this in the request form.

In the columns below, each county KML contains the information for projects in our archives with the midpoint of the project located; the associated Excel file with the information used to create the KML; and the Secondary Road Name maps that show the older numbering system for secondary roads used in older plans.

COMMON QUESTIONS

1. How do I order plans from Plan Sales?

Email the Plan Sales Request form to Plan.Sales@tn.gov.  Please attach a map with the project area labeled.  If possible, this map needs to show adjacent side roads or routes.   Submit only one request per form.

2. How much does it cost?

Since October 2012 TDOT Plan Sales Section provides plan sheets in PDF format at no cost to the customer.

3. What if the plans that I receive are hard to read and decipher?

As stated above we cannot guarantee the quality of prints when emailing electronic files. These Plans are
provided here to individuals and other agencies who use these plans at their own risk. No warranty either
express or implied is given.
