Boyd Property Site Development Grant

Grant funds were used to purchase the Boyd Property in Hardin County, addressing the lack of large industrial-ready sites. The state grant contract was executed on 6/22/23, with the grant admin contract finalized on 7/13/23. A commercial appraisal and ALTA survey were completed, and funds were received on 4/23/24. The closing occurred on 5/2/24, with settlement documents submitted the next day. The property is now available for industry, enhancing economic development by enabling the county to respond to RFIs and attract businesses. The IDC plans to target prospects with specific utility needs.
