In 2017, Coffee County and Ben Lomand officials worked collaboratively to determine customer needs and develop specifications to extend broadband fiber service to the Pocahontas community.

Martin - Gig City Broadband
Instead of building the fiber network alone, the city partnered with West Kentucky & Tennessee Telecommunications, a cooperative with experience building and maintaining a fiber network.
