About the Tours
Guests are shuttled from a nearby church parking lot onto the property and welcomed into the Residence by greeters. Each guest is given a brochure of information on the history of the home and the details of the décor for the holidays to guide them through their tour of the Residence. Docents and volunteers are available along the tour route to answer questions and offer historical information.
Guests will make their way through the first floor of the Residence and will be directed to Conservation Hall to experience more whimsical and entertaining decorations for adults and children alike. The Tennessee Residence gift shop, whose funds benefit renovation and restoration projects at the Residence through the Tennessee Residence Foundation, will be open in Conservation Hall at the end of the tour to purchase gifts and mementos of time spent at Tennessee's historic home. Following the tour, guests will be transported back to their vehicles via shuttle.
