September 17-27, 2018: Read to be Ready Summer Grant Roadshow takes place

September 20, 2018: Shelbyville - South Central CORE Office
September 20, 2018: Cookeville - Prescott South Middle School
September 24, 2018: Jonesborough - Washington County BOE
September 25, 2018: Lenoir City - Loudon County Tech Center
September 27, 2018: Chattanooga - Southeast CORE Office
September 27, 2018: Nashville - Goodwill Industries
A member of the Read to be Ready Summer Grant team will provide an overview of the grant program, major requirements and expectations for camps, resources available to applicants, and changes from last year's application process. October 9, 2018, 5:00 p.m. CDT: Facilitator and monitor application closes
October 15, 2018, 11:59 p.m. CDT: Deadline to submit grant for logistical review with resubmission opportunity
October 22, 2018, 5:00 p.m. CDT: 2019 summer grant application closes
No later than December 14, 2018: All applicants notified of grant status; training registration opens for recipients
February 6-7, 2019: Summer grant conference option #1 (Knoxville, TN)*
February 14-15, 2019 : Summer grant conference option #2 (Franklin, TN)*
February 20-21, 2019: Summer grant conference option #3 (Jackson, TN)*
May 7-8, 2019: Summer grant conference option #4 (Nashville, TN)
May 9-10, 2019: Summer grant conference option #5 (Nashville, TN)
June 17, 2019: All camps must begin by this date
*Limited spots available. Priority registration will be given to program directors who have not previously hosted a camp/attended training and their teams.
