KNOXVILLE - Training and Feedback Session

High Performance Building requirements (HPBr)​ - AIA has approved the course for 2.5 LU/HSW.

The Office of the State Architect (OSA) is sponsoring a training and feedback session regarding the HPBr and its application on State of Tennessee projects. OSA’s consultant, SSRCx, will be leading this training opportunity. OSA encourages industry attendance.

Session Goal: Review TN High Performance Building requirements documents/application and discuss any technical questions industry have relative to the HPBr documents.  Review new metrics / minor changes within the TN HPBr.  Gain feedback from industry on challenges encountered and potential improvements to the documents/process.
A. Review of the HPBr process and technical requirements
B. Applying the HPBr to the range of TN State project types
C. Overview and review of the Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR)
D. HPBr Manual – overview, review, updates
E. HPBr Checklist – overview, review, updates
F. High Performance building metrics – application
G. Gain feedback from industry on challenges / successes experienced on State projects
H. Gain feedback from industry on HPBr and potential improvements to content and process
