TDHS is Offering Parents the Opportunity to Receive Text Messages About P-EBT
Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) has launched a SMS text conversation program to help individuals navigate the P-EBT benefits process, receive timely updates and reminders for their P-EBT benefits. Individuals will only be messaged through a safe, secure long code: (931) 229-0268 and will never be asked for personally identifiable information.
The TDHS MSG text conversation program will send personalized reminders about your P-EBT benefits, such as:
- P-EBT status updates
- When to expect your benefits
- Benefits reminders
- Where to view your benefit amount
To sign up, log in to your account at Parent Portal (service-now.com) and click on the opt-in banner from the home page. See detailed instructions below.

To stop messages, reply “STOP”. You will be put on the do-not-contact list if you opt-out.
Can I re-start messages if I previously said “STOP”?
Yes, to receive messages again, you must reply “START”.
