Notice of Review

Applications will be heard August 26,  2020 at the Tennessee Health Services and Development Agency meeting. 

Applications noted as Consent Calendar will be heard August 26, 2020.

This is to provide official notification that the Certificate of Need applications listed below have begun the review cycle effective June 1, 2020.  Agencies reviewing these applications are the Tennessee Department of Health and the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

 

CN2004-007  St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital

     SW Intersection of Veterans Parkway and Shores Road

     Murfreesboro (Rutherford County)

     For the establishment of a satellite hospital under the single license of St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital at the southwest intersection of Veterans Parkway, Murfreesboro (Rutherford County).  The satellite hospital will have eight (8) private inpatient medical beds, eight (8) emergency treatment rooms, imaging (CT, x-ray, and ultrasound), as well as laboratory services and medical office space.  The eight (8) medical beds will be relocated from the main campus to the proposed satellite hospital campus. The estimated project cost is $24,631,165.

 

CN2005-013  Select Specialty Hospital - Nashville

     For the establishment of a 30 bed satellite Long Term Care Hospital (LTCH), which will be a satellite campus of Select Specialty Hospital located at 2000 Hayes Street, Nashville (Davidson County).  The satellite Long Term Care Hospital will be located on the sixth floor of St. Thomas West Hospital located at 4220 Harding Pike, Nashville (Davidson County).  The estimated project cost is $13,484,692.

 

CN2005-014  Hermitage Comprehensive Treatment Center

     589 Stewarts Ferry Pike

     Hermitage (Davidson County)

     For the establishment of a non-residential substitution based treatment center for opiate addiction to be located at 589 Stewarts Ferry Pike, Hermitage (Davidson County).  The estimated project cost is $1,209,068.

 

CN2005-015  Hendersonville Comprehensive Treatment Center

     333 East Main Street

     Hendersonville (Sumner County)

     For the establishment of a non-residential substitution based treatment center for opiate addiction to be located at 333 East Main Street, Hendersonville (Sumner County).  The estimated project cost is $1,631,000.

 

CN2005-016  Cleveland Comprehensive Treatment Center

     3575 Keith Street, NW

     Cleveland (Bradley County)

     For the establishment of a non-residential substitution based treatment center for opiate addiction to be located at 3575 Keith Street, NW, Cleveland (Bradley County).  The estimated project cost is $1,340,780.

 

CN2005-017  Christian Care Center of Washington County

     2434 Boones Creek Road

     Johnson City (Washington County)

     For the relocation and replacement of the former Family Ministries John M. Reed Nursing Center, a 63 bed licensed nursing home currently in an inactive license status, from 124 John M. Reed Nursing Home Road, Limestone to 2434 Boones Creek Road, Johnson City.  The proposed newly constructed facility is under new ownership and has been renamed Christian Care Center of Washington County.  The estimated project cost is $10,073,240.

 

     

 

Upon written request by interested parties, the staff of the Tennessee Health Services and Development Agency shall conduct a public hearing.

Pursuant to T.C.A. Section 68-11-1609(g)(1), any health care institution wishing to oppose a Certificate of Need must file a written objection with the Tennessee Health Services and Development Agency and serve a copy on the contact person for the applicant no later than fifteen (15) days before the agency meeting at which the application is originally scheduled for consideration.
