Health Services and Development December Meeting Information

Due to the continued effects of COVID-19, the December HSDA meeting will be held virtually.

If you intend to voice in support or opposition for any application that is scheduled to be heard, you may do so.  We ask that you contact those listed below to receive instructions and the invitation for the meeting.  In submitting your request, please let them know which application you are commenting on.  If at all possible, please let them know by Monday, December 14, 2020 to allow time to inform the board chair.

Temporary Suspension of CON Requirements for Hospitals

#10 of Executive Order 15

"The provisions of Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 68-11-1607, are hereby suspended to the extent necessary to allow hospitals that would otherwise be subject to certificate of need requirements to temporarily increase their number of licensed hospital beds at any location or temporarily establish hospital and diagnostic services at any location, if necessary for the treatment of COVID-19 patients, as well as to the extent necessary to facilitate activity authorized by the provisions of this Order and any subsequent order concerning COVID-19."

Temporary HSDA Office Closure

To protect the health and welfare of the public and staff, the HSDA office will be temporarily closed effective Monday, April 13th.  It will re-open at at time in accordance with guidance in the Governor's executive orders.

Filings can be made in substantial compliance with agency rule during this time by scanning and emailing  to .  The email will serve as proof of the time of filing, which can be made at any time during the day.  Checks should be sent by mail after a scanned copy is received.
