Alyssa Grinder recently educated multiple people on the harmful effects of using tobacco products at the Medical Missions event that was held on September 28th, in Hohenwald, Tennessee. Alyssa handed out information and demonstrated the harmful effects that tobacco and e-cigarettes cause to the body, lungs, and others around you.

Earlier this month TNSTRONG students in Lewis County educated mothers and daughters on the dangers of e-cigarettes and vaping with a game of Tobacco Jeopardy at their 13th Annual Petals and Pearls Program. More than 100 attended! Way to go Lewis County!

Peer to Peer Tobacco Prevention Education

TNSTRONG youth from Lewis County presented tobacco facts to their peers during the 15th Annual Teen Safe Night. The event, a program hosted by the Lewis County Health Council’s Youth/Tobacco Subcommittee, was held on March 23rd. The high school students facilitated four sessions of Tobacco 101 and followed up with a game of Tobacco Jeopardy for an audience of 7th and 8th graders.
