  • Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee - Donate/Blounty County
    • Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee in Maryland is in need of monetary and food donations in order to support their food bank.
  • Chattanooga Food Area Bank - Donate/Hamilton County 
    • The Chattanooga Area Food Bank is seeking food and monetary donations for those in need at this time. 
  • Volunteer East Tennessee - Donate/Knox County
    • Volunteer East Tennessee in Knoxville is looking for donations for food, supplies, gift cards, and household items.
  • Knox Area Rescue Ministries - Donate/Knox County
    •    Knox Area Rescure Ministries (KARM) in Knoxville has suspended their volunteer services at this time.  However, they are still serving vulnerable populations (primarily homeless).  They are in need of food donations.  To donate, please call Liz Galloway, KARM's Director of Food Services, at (865) 640-4304.
  • United Way of Knoxville - Donate/Knox County
    • United Way of Greater Knoxville has an active campaign for a COVID-19 response fund.  They have a $75,000 goal to support local  non-profits providing essential services affected by COVID-19.
  • Second Harvest Food Bank - Volunteer/Blount County
    • Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee in Maryland is in need of volunteers for their food pantry and delivering food to those in need.  To volunteer, email Volunteer Coordinator, Dylan, at dylan@secondharvestetn.org or call (865) 243-8238.
  • Chattanooga Room in the Inn - Volunteer/Hamilton County
    • Chattanooga Room in the Inn is in desperate need of volunteers for daytime childcare.  Contact Beth Granberry at bgranberry@chattanoogaroomintheinn.com for more information.
  • Hamilton County Schools - Volunteer/Hamilton County 
    • Hamilton County Schools have activated their buses to deliver meals across the county to school-based meal sites.  Bus drivers need one colunteer per bus to assist in handing out meals at each drop off location.  Volunteers are also needed for meal preparation on Thursdays and Fridays.
  • The Chattanooga Area Food Bank - Volunteer/Hamilton County
    • The Chattanooga Area Food Bank is seeking help in their warehouse and with food sorting and packing.
  • The City of Chattanooga - Volunteer/Hamilton County
    • The City of Chattanooga is seeking assistance with their Senior Citizen Virtual Phone Bank.  Volunteers would make phone calls to locals who fall within the at-risk population for COVID-19.  Volunteers would also check in to see how residents are doing and if they ahve any unmet needs.  
  • Salvation Army of Chattanooga - Volunteer/Hamilton County
    • The Salvation Army of Chattanooga needs assistance at the ReCreate Cafe, a day center for those experiencing homelessness.  Volunteers can help with preparing and serving coffee and snacks, gathering clothing and hygiene items from donation closet, and cleaning and disinfecting spaces and surfaces.
  • YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga - Volunteer/Hamilton County 
    • The YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga is looking for volunteers for the School Closure Food Program.  Volunteers would be assisting in kitchens or with food delivery routes.
  • Senior Citizen Home Assistance Service - Volunteer/Knox County
    • Senior Citizen Home Assistance Service, Inc. (SCHAS) in Knoxville is helping those who cannot leave their home due to COVID-19 by shopping and delivering groceries directly to the homes of residents.  They are looking for volunteers with shopping and delivery.
  • Volunteer East Tennesee - Volunteer/Knox County
    •    Volunteer East Tennesseee in Knoxville is looking for critical response volunteers for food packing, delivering meals to seniors, and senior care calls.
