June 18, 2019 Notice:  Clean Water and Drinking Water Intended Use Plan (FY19) Public Meeting

The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) will hold a public meeting to present and receive comments on the federal fiscal year (FY) 2019 Draft Intended Use Plans (IUPs) for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) capitalization grants.

The draft IUPs will be released at the public meeting and then will be posted on this webpage. TDEC will begin soliciting comments at that time and will accept comments on the draft IUPs through August 18, 2019.

Clean Water

The SRF Loan Program administers Tennessee's Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Loan Program. The CWSRF Program was created in order to provide low-interest loans to cities, counties, utility districts, and water/wastewater authorities for the planning, design, and construction of wastewater facilities.

Drinking Water

The SRF Loan Program administers Tennessee's Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Loan Program. The DWSRF Program was created in order to provide low-interest loans to cities, counties, utility districts, and water/wastewater authorities for the planning, design, and construction of drinking water facilities.


Priority Ranking

Tennessee's Priority Ranking System forms the basis for eligibility determinations and the allocation of Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loans through the State Revolving Fund Loan Program.
