The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), Division of Solid Waste Management (DSWM), has tentatively decided to issue a composting permit to construct and operate a new Tier Two composting facility to Atlas Organics LLC and will conduct a public hearing Tuesday, December 6, 2022, to receive comments on its tentative decision.
