Professional Development for Educators

TDEC offers professional development for teachers who are interested in incorporating environmental topics into all subjects taught in schools.

Request a Project Learning Tree Workshop

The Office of Policy and Sustainable Practices and Tennessee State Parks offers Project Learning Tree workshops, which serve as professional development opportunities for teachers.

K-12 Energy Education

OEP’s current offerings include Energy Education Camps for K-12 Educators and Energy Education Workshops for both educators and students.  These offerings link the broad topic of energy to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) subjects and provide educators with the knowledge and resources necessary to teach energy concepts.

Request a Project WET Workshop

Tennessee State Parks offers Project WET workshops. Lessons are built to be integrated into multiple subjects such as science, language arts, math, and even government.
