BlueOval City Community Information

With the historic announcement of the BlueOval City project in September of 2021, West Tennessee leaders learned that more than 5,800 jobs will be coming to the West Tennessee Megasite in 2025 to produce the electric Ford truck and EV batteries.

The impact of the project will hit every community in West Tennessee. Three priorities have been identified by ECD to support communities as they prepare for and experience growth.  These priorities include 1) identifying and sharing need-to-know resources through BOC Community Impact meetings; 2) serving as a partner to help communities with solutions as growth occurs; and 3) managing regional community planning.
